This year's story

This year we will work with We are Water Protectors written by Carole Lindstrom and illustrated by Michaela Goade. This book was crafted in response to the Dakota Access Pipeline protests at Standing Rock Reservation in 2016, and tells the story of an Ojibwe girl who fights against an oil pipeline in an effort to protect the water supply of her people. We chose this story because it's contemporary,  because Reclaiming was involved in Standing Rock, and because water is life.

If you would like to join the Story Charette and help shape the narrative for camp, please contact Donna Isler get involved. Read a list of stories we've worked with in the past.

Offer a workshop

Past workshops included crafts like tie-dying, leaf printing,  and wand making, and interests like drumming, nature walks, archery, and improv. If you'd like to offer a workshop, contact Donna Kay to reserve your spot on the schedule.

Sell your wares

Set up at the Goblin Market where all the Witchlets can peruse your goods and purchase what strikes their fancy. We ask that you donate 10% of your sales to the Witchlets scholarship fund.

Sign up to spin

If you'd like to help make Witchlets happen, consider being a Spinner. To find out about different ways you can spin, contact Laura Bee to get involved -- and enjoy the buzz that comes from being part of the wild and wonderful Witchlets crew.

Apply to teach

From the youngest Faery to the oldest Bear, we have a path for everyone. If you'd like an opportunity to teach, please fill out this simple application by June 15, 2024. Our teaching coordinator will review and reach out to you with any questions.
